Description

We are looking for a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer that would join our Flight Systems – Honeywell Anthem team. You will be responsible for Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) development and testing – specifically contributing to the development of one or more of the following functions - Flight Guidance / Flight Director, Autothrottle, Autopilot, Trims, Yaw Damper. The final product will be serving to customers not only in Business, Regional but also Urban Air Mobility or General aviation segments. There is an opportunity for you to have significant footprint on AFCS sub-system level development, meet with customers, cooperate with Lead system engineer in key technical decisions and guide junior system engineers. We’re looking for an experienced career professional with proven systems engineering experience in aerospace industry and model-based development. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and testing of Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS) for various aviation segments. Collaborate with lead engineers and customers to make key technical decisions and guide junior systems engineers.
