We are looking for two Senior Advisors - Assurance to join our Risk & Assurance team based in Sydney Partner with industry leaders on high-profile assignments, innovative renewable and landmark infrastructure developments. The Risk & Assurance team is an integral part of GHD Business Advisory, we address of our clients' needs across markets, from strategic engagements to the operational face and throughout the project life cycle. The Senior Advisor - Assurance plays a key role in the development and mentoring of Graduates and Advisors. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Review and assessment of governance frameworks and strategies Evaluating client’s business control processes Supporting non-financial audits of client systems, processes and projects Supporting assessment of client compliance with relevant standards and regulations Undertaking technical analysis in support of senior staff Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure cost effective solutions to address identified risk and issues are negotiated and implemented in a timely manner. Contributing to the development of the strategic and operational plans for the Risk & Assurance Service line Manage the planning and delivery of assignments Developing internal and external networks to grow the Risk & Assurance service Internal reporting, including client, sales pipeline and revenue reports What you will bring to the team: Degree qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar discipline or: Degree qualification in engineering with post graduate qualification in business, accounting or governance 7+ years industry experience in a recognised consulting, corporate or regulatory environment Experience working in/on audit, governance or compliance frameworks and application to major projects Excellent business acumen Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong project management skills Interested? - Apply Now GHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
