ACHIEVE SUCCESS AS SENIOR ADVISOR

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, financial acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation. You don’t need to tick every box, but we value:

  • Demonstrated experience in public sector budgeting, financial systems, and financial analysis, ideally within NSW or a comparable jurisdiction.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, applying modelling techniques using SQL, DAX, and Power BI to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, including opportunities for automation and streamlining data workflows.
  • A strong interest in AI-enabled solutions, with curiosity about how emerging technologies can enhance public sector decision-making, data use, and service delivery. Prior experience is not essential; what matters is a willingness to learn and experiment.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with a track record of delivering reforms or initiatives from concept through to implementation.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a desire to contribute to a high-performing, purpose-driven team.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Python, Power Query, Power BI, and SQL, and a willingness to explore new technologies as they emerge.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experiencein accounting, finance, economics, data science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline.
