This role bridges the gap between business and technical teams to identify, document, and investigate the resolution of data-related challenges while ensuring metadata is optimally managed and used across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to data governance and metadata management initiatives.
  • Lead the activities of multiple data requirements efforts, validate data requirements, assess data risks, and recommend data risk mitigation to business function leads across multiple business processes, organizations, and application systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for identified issues, resolutions, and standard processes to prevent recurrence. Focus on the end user throughout the development cycle.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with execution teams to ensure successful implementation. Create various scope options dependent on priorities and cost/benefit expectations.
