The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Advisor, Communications to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, strategic, and operational communications. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, this role is instrumental in crafting compelling external communication materials—including annual reports, website content, social media, and thought leadership publications—while contributing to a consistent and engaging corporate narrative. This is a hands-on opportunity for a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about translating complex information into accessible messaging that supports our purpose, performance, and values. The opportunity is offered on a 15-month fixed-term basis in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll take ownership of key communication channels and materials, ensuring they contain relevant and accurate content and reflect our brand and Employee Value Proposition. You’ll manage our new company newsletter and corporate publication suite including our annual report from end to end. You’ll also manage our social media presence on LinkedIn, and support internal communications through engaging content and employee campaigns. You’ll also coordinate cross-functional communication projects, managing timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth and impactful execution. Collaboration will be central—you’ll work closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and business units to deliver initiatives that enhance our reputation and stakeholder engagement. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and supporting knowledge-sharing across the team. About You You are a strategic thinker with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, and bring demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality communication strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels. Your writing and storytelling skills are exceptional, and you have a knack for making complex topics clear and engaging. You’re adept at managing multiple priorities, have a strong understanding of brand and visual identity principles, and are proactive in problem-solving. You bring emotional intelligence to your relationships, take pride in your work, and communicate persuasively to build trust and influence outcomes.
