About the Job The Reinsurance IT team supports critical data management and reporting commitments both internally and for The Cigna Group strategic partner. The team brings a diverse skill set and extensive experience to support complex data pipelines, policy data stores, and AWS cloud-based compute-intensive financial models. We are looking for an experienced IT Platform Support Senior Advisor to join the Reinsurance IT team to take primary responsibility for the technical operational environment supporting this business. The ideal candidate will have broad technical experience and a strong interest in learning. The IT Platform Support Senior Advisor will be the point of platform support for the development team and our business partners for technical issues. Business issue response is often time-sensitive and requires availability during East Coast normal business hours and occasional off-hours support during key business reporting periods. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary platform support point of contact for engaging partner IT teams, technical issue resolution and response. Serve as the primary IT team contact for platform and infrastructure change to support new IT solutions, technical upgrades and enhancements, or security changes. Participate in all team Agile ceremonies and contribute to team solution delivery including solution architecture and design, testing, and deployment. Provide direct hands-on support for departmental business applications where needed including software installation and product upgrades. Serve as primary contact for IT SOX controls reporting. Requirements and Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years proven experience in a Platform Support or similar role. Experience working in a Microsoft .NET software development environment and supporting web based, server based, and container-based solutions. Expertise in windows systems, networking, and security. Experience with SQL and creating queries. Experience supporting a Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS and SSIS environment. Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a high degree of collaboration. Self-organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Organization savvy and comfort navigating IT and business organizations. Desirable Background working in a DevOps enabled delivery team and support for pipelines and tools. Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell or Linux shell scripting. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,800 - 201,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
