About the Role The Office of the Public Service Commissioner (OPSC) is seeking a Senior Advisor, Learning and Development role up to 2 years. Reporting to the Director, Policy and Programs, you will play a key part in implementing OPSC’s learning and development strategy and contributing to high‑visibility projects across the NSW Government sector. The role requires the ability to quickly distil various subject matter, identify learning opportunities and capability gaps, and design and implement programs and resources to meet the needs of diverse audiences. This work will span across OPSC functions including equity and diversity, merit and ethics. To learn more about the role, please review the Role Description. We're Looking For Learning Design & Capability: Experience identifying capability gaps and designing learning or development solutions aligned to frameworks Program & Project Management: Proven ability to manage learning programs end‑to‑end, working autonomously in complex environments Stakeholder Engagement: Strong skills in engaging, influencing and working with diverse stakeholders across government Strategic Thinking: Experience briefing risks, issues and options to support informed decision‑making Vendor & Procurement Management: Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and procurement processes Problem Solving & Innovation: Ability to develop practical, innovative solutions in complex or sensitive policy contexts.
