The Senior Advisor role sits in the Major Projects team within the Protection Directorate of the National Public Health Service (NPHS). We are seeking a strong Senior Advisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the business environment for our projects to succeed. Your work will significantly impact public health outcomes across New Zealand and help to ensure that our new systems enable equitable outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• An in-depth understanding of operational Public Health at a local, regional and national level within the NPHS
• A passion for realising the benefits of technology supported public health.
• An understand or willingness to develop understanding of privacy considerations across health technology systems including the application of the Privacy Act 2020.
• A background in high level technical writing, including papers, minutes, reports, aide memoires and policy
• The ability to adeptly build and maintain relationships with complex stakeholder groups, managing their expectations, and keeping them informed
