At this early stage of the analytics transformation, the organization is seeking to lay the foundations for a robust, consistent and sustainable data ecosystem. As Senior Advisor, Operational and Real Estate Data Valorization, you’ll play a key role in identifying, understanding and centralizing data from multiple sources. You’ll be responsible for mapping the types of data available, verifying its quality and helping integrate it into a single data storage space. You’ll play a key role in setting the right conditions for future data use, working closely with internal stakeholders. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Implement best practices in reference to the five pillars of the data management maturity model (Strategy, Quality, Operations, Architecture and Tools, Governance) within the Real Estate Services Division
  • Analyze and identify user needs and work on complex data valorization initiatives, taking into account the specifics of their operationalization and ensuring coordination during rollout
  • Collaborate to define and implement the semantic data model
  • Help develop the data and analytics vision and strategy in line with Desjardins Group’s strategic directions
  • Help coordinate and align data and analytics strategies and the corresponding roadmaps
  • Implement controls and define data quality expectations (target, threshold, usage limit) in accordance with data directives, procedures and processes
  • Work with stakeholders and help teams execute the data strategy
  • Help monitor the performance of the Desjardins Group data strategy through the defined key performance indicators, including the data and analytics maturity assessment
  • Conduct technology watch on data science, artificial intelligence and data governance tools and trends to recommend relevant innovations
  • Contribute to the data culture by hosting workshops, training sessions or communities of practice to strengthen teams’ analytical skills
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of data valorization initiatives on business objectives
