The People & Culture team leads strategic people & culture programs and operational activities across the entire employee lifecycle. Our team provides expert advice across a range of people and culture activities including employee relations, talent attraction and selection, onboarding, talent management, learning and development, organisational development, remuneration and reporting, work health safety, wellbeing and workforce planning.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior P&C Advisor to join our team and manage diverse activities aligned to the Corporate Services and People & Culture Business Plan across Employee Relations and Diversity.
This part time (3 days a week), non-ongoing role will initially be available until 28 February 2026, and it offers a competitive salary range of $115,892 - $129,580 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and industrially compliant guidance and support to staff and managers on a wide range of employment relations matters.
  • Assist the Director People & Culture with employee relations matters including but not limited to managing conduct and performance, team re-alignments and grievances.
  • Lead the establishment and implementation of a suite of effective and best practice templates and resources to support employee relations at the Commission.
  • Manage the development, consultation and roll out of a suite of People & Culture policies ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Agreement and relevant Australian Public Service legislation, regulations and industrial instruments.
  • Lead the development of the Commission’s Disability Action Plan in consultation with internal and external stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Review all employment policies through a D&I lens to ensure best practice and compliance.
