Job Description Under general supervision performs technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. Exhibits knowledge and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of their environmental specialty. Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures. Monitors and prevents hazards and diseases that could be found in the work area. Investigates accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred Minimum of 12 years of experience in safety, health, and environment roles within the infrastructure sector Proven track record of developing and implementing effective SHE policies and procedures Demonstrated success in improving safety performance and environmental sustainability metrics In-depth knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and standards applicable to the infrastructure industry Strong understanding of sustainability practices in infrastructure development Proficiency in safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental impact analysis Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Relevant professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Familiarity with the UAE's regulatory environment and cultural context is highly desirable Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
