DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Supports key customer accounts and enterprise-wide strategic growth initiatives encompassing business development, corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, and new venture integration. Possesses knowledge and expertise in designated field or discipline. Provides insight and advice concerning strategic direction and applicability of up-to-date policies, regulations and industry standard solutions. Provides guidance and direction for implementing and managing client mission delivery and operations execution. Is responsible for providing high level vision to program/project management or senior client leadership to influence objectives of complex efforts. Leads or supports assessments of organizations challenges using specialized skills and knowledge. Consults on strategy and planning initiatives, to include the vision and mission, work plans, staffing, stakeholder engagement, communications products, financial and risks. Manages and mentors staff. Recommends options or solutions that meet a client’s needs and desired functionality. Develops and implements operational systems, processes, and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 30 years of combined experience in the executive branch and federal consulting, with 10+ years of executive. Leadership roles in growth, strategy, or business development.
  • Proven track record of business growth with federal customers.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal agencies and acquisition processes.
  • High proficiency in structured business development and growth methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization and externally.
  • Effective in managing multiple priorities under tight timelines with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • History of leading collaboration with internal and external team members to align practice areas, technical capabilities, customer needs, and empowering team culture.
  • Strategic thinker with operational discipline and an entrepreneurial mindset.
    Part-time roles working less than 20 hours per week are not eligible for company provided benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provides expert advice for managing technical, contractual, and administrative requirements for complex programs and initiatives that may involve multiple projects, resources, and team members at multiple locations.
  • Organizes, leads, directs, and deploys resources with broad technical, business, and industry expertise.
  • Serves as a strategic advisor to internal and external customers regarding program activities and provides portfolio insights and advice to clients to ensure efficient and effective decision-making and mission delivery.
  • Prepares reports, talking points, and testimony for use at the agency, executive, and congressional level for clients.
  • Engages mission and operations stakeholders and prepares fact sheets, storyboards, presentations and similar materials to advance client missions.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior government officials, agency leaders, and industry partners to maintain business intelligence and expand business opportunities.
  • Shape strategic positioning, market visibility, and competitive advantage aligned to agency priorities.
  • Lead or oversee key federal programs; serve as executive sponsor or program manager for high-profile contracts as needed.
  • Optimize business development and capture processes to drive efficiency, accountability, and success.
  • Advise and mentor a cross-functional growth teams to support scalable execution.
