About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with good understanding of AEM architecture, backend frameworks, and Adobe best practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across Java, Sling, OSGi, CRX, Dispatcher, Content Fragments, GraphQL, REST APIs, Context-Aware Configurations, and automated testing (JUnit/Mockito) — along with strong focus on code quality, scalability, and security. Responsibilities & Required Skills Deep understanding of AEM architecture, Sling request lifecycle, OSGi framework, workflows, replication, and dispatcher caching. Strong proficiency in Java, Sling Models, OSGi, CRX/JCR repository, and AEM Core Components. Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows using HTL/Sightly. Build custom OSGi services, Sling Models, Schedulers, Sling Jobs and servlets for complex business logic and integrations. Create and configure Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and editable templates for reusable and structured content. Implement Context-Aware Configurations (CA Config) for environment- or site-specific setups. Design and expose AEM GraphQL and RESTful APIs for headless and hybrid delivery. Configure and fine-tune Dispatcher for caching, routing, and performance optimization. Manage user groups, permissions, and ACLs for secure and role-based content authoring. Enforce AEM architecture standards, Adobe-recommended design patterns, and clean code principles. Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality via Sonar, and follow CI/CD practices. Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure test coverage and stability. Work with Git for branching, pull requests, and version control; manage builds via Maven. Collaborate with front-end, QA, analytics teams and other teams for end-to-end delivery. Good analysis and debugging skills for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex AEM and integration issues. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Ownership-driven and proactive. Good to Have Knowledge of security best practices — XSS protection, CSRF handling, CSP headers, secure endpoints, encryption, and OWASP compliance. Experience integrating Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch for tracking and personalization. Familiarity with Akamai/CDN caching, optimization, and invalidation workflows. Exposure to React/Next.js front-end integrations. Experience with AEM Cloud Manager, AEMaaCS, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of GraphQL clients, API gateways, and security auditing tools.
