Description
We are seeking a Senior AI Electromagnetic Simulation Engineer to join Helsinki Hardware and System Lab. This position will work closely with domain experts to process large-scale data, build robust AI models, and pioneer AI+ simulation innovation. This role requires a strong blend of research acumen, high-quality software development (Python/C++), and a passion for transforming theoretical tech into practical engineering tools. Main responsibilities: Data processing, data analyzing, feature engineering, AI modeling, and AI model optimizing in the domain of electromagnetic simulation. Designing and implementing efficient AI algorithm solutions based on domain knowledge and database features to improve simulation efficiency. Tracking the development of international cutting-edge AI technologies, exploring innovative application scenarios of AI+ simulation, and promoting the implementation of technological innovation. Working closely with the simulation engineer team to develop intelligent simulation tools, optimize the simulation process, and improve the overall work efficiency. Required qualifications and skills: Master's degree or above in computer science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, electromagnetics, etc. Proficient in mathematical foundations such as numerical analysis methods, machine learning theory, and probability statistics. Familiar with the principle of electromagnetic analysis and its application in engineering simulation. Solid foundation in data structure and algorithm. Familiar with the principle of LLM and Graph Neural Network. Proficient in programming languages, such as Python and C++, and have good code development capabilities. Familiar with mainstream machine learning frameworks. Familiar with mainstream database management frameworks. Experience with commercial simulation software such as Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL and CST is preferred. Experience in electromagnetic design is preferred, in the fields of Antenna or EMC. Nice to have: Practical experience in AI+ simulation projects is preferred. Experience in large-scale data processing and model optimization is preferred. Experience in LLM/Graph Neural Network is preferred. Excellent independent research and problem-solving skills Good teamwork spirit and communication skills Highly sensitive to new technologies and continuous learning Good at summarizing and sharing, and skilled in writing articles and reports. Location Helsinki, Finland Contract Type: This is a full-time consultant position, the consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.
