JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior AI Enablement Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and prototyping the AI‑enabled SDLC in IT and driving AI adoption and best practices across IT.
This role will build on HOOPP’s existing IT AI infrastructure in Azure and AWS to drive a centralized, standard approach to shared, governed AI practices, implement AI adoption metrics and automate the provisioning, testing, and monitoring of AI enhanced solutions using modern Agile & DevOps practices.
The successful candidate will additionally assist teams with converting existing AI focused initiatives into reference architecture and working prototypes, produce validated solutions with strong governance in alignment with IT controls. A successful candidate will coach delivery teams on responsible AI adoption with a particular focus on AWS enablement.
This collaborative role will partner closely with multiple IT teams across divisions to drive results and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and prototype end‑to‑end AI solutions that solve concrete business problems, document decision records, reference architectures, and reusable patterns.
  • Design, build, and operate shared AI API endpoints in Azure OpenAI Service and AWS Bedrock, fronted by API Management / API Gateway with OAuth/Managed Identities & Monitoring
  • Implement secure guard rails for prompt handling, content filtering, toxicity/safety checks.
  • Rapidly prototype the prioritized AI SDLC use cases; evaluate model quality, performance and adherence to IT controls; recommend production AI tools and work with an architectural review board to implement.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure Pipelines) for automated build, test, security scanning, and deployment of AI services and infuse AI into best release management practices.
  • Provision cloud resources using IaC (Bicep, Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK); enable repeatable, auditable environment creations
  • Implement comprehensive observability: capture prompts/responses/metrics to Azure Monitor/Log Analytics and CloudWatch/CloudTrail; publish near‑real‑time usage dashboards in Power BI.
  • Enable GitHub Copilot at scale: policy, enablement, and usage metrics; coach teams on available features to improve secure coding practices.
  • Embed with IT teams as needed to integrate AI into applications and business workflows; transition prototypes into supported, production services.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, IT Security & Identify Access Management team to ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and ICFR requirements.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly in standups, sprint reviews, and IT Leadership updates.
