This is the job We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join an innovative project focused on building intelligent systems that transform complex engineering documentation into structured knowledge and simulation-ready models. The role involves working with LLMs, Knowledge Graphs, and Computer Vision, combining unstructured data (e.g., P&IDs, technical specifications) with real-time inputs to automate model generation and system understanding. This is you Strong experience with Python Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI frameworks (LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.) Experience with Knowledge Graphs (KG) and Graph Databases (Neo4j) Experience with Vector Databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Vertex AI) Solid understanding of Machine Learning / Deep Learning, including document understanding Experience with Computer Vision / object detection pipelines Experience building APIs with FastAPI Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Celery) Experience with Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with GCP (Cloud Run) Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis This is your role Convert system descriptions (e.g., P&IDs, manufacturer specifications) into structured Knowledge Graphs (KG) Enhance KG generation by integrating real-time system data and additional data sources Build KG-to-Model mapping logic to automatically generate initial 1D simulation models (e.g., Amesim) Design and develop pipelines using LLMs, VLMs, and ML/DL models for document understanding Implement and maintain data processing and AI workflows Develop backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) Create demo/admin interfaces using Streamlit or React Ensure system scalability, observability, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and domain experts What awaits you at Avenga?
