Senior AI Engineer — Animal Health Diagnostics Scale-Up

We are partnering with a fast-growing health technology company using data and machine learning to detect chronic disease far earlier than current standards of care allow. Their platform is already in the hands of clinicians, and they're now scaling the team behind the models.

They're hiring an AI Engineer to take their models from promising to production.

The role

• Design, build and deploy ML models on real-world clinical and diagnostic data
• Partner with the clinical science team to turn domain expertise into usable features and signals
• Own models end to end — pipeline, experimentation, deployment, monitoring, iteration
• Shape how the business handles data quality, validation and reproducibility as it scales
• Contribute to technical direction in a small team where your input genuinely lands

Background they're looking for

• Proven experience shipping ML models into production environments
• Strong Python and modern ML tooling — PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLOps practices
• Comfort with messy, real-world structured data; time-series or longitudinal health data a strong plus
• Pragmatism — you know when the simpler model is the right call
• Genuine interest in healthcare or diagnostics

Bonus points

• Experience in a regulated or clinical data environment
• Early-stage or scale-up exposure
• German (helpful, not required — the team works in English)
