This role is a key contributor to the development of next-generation AI-driven medical imaging solutions. You will lead research, design, and implementation of advanced AI models, particularly in cancer detection and diagnostic imaging. The position requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, integrating AI solutions into production, validating model performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct AI research to explore new methodologies and techniques relevant to healthcare solutions. Collaborate with product teams to identify innovation opportunities and guide strategic roadmaps. Work with large medical datasets, performing preprocessing, annotation, and enhancement to improve model performance. Integrate AI solutions into production environments and evaluate real-world performance in clinical settings. Lead validation and testing of AI models to meet regulatory standards, including FDA compliance. Produce research publications, technical documentation, and support product marketing initiatives. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to cross-functional team projects. Ensure AI development activities comply with healthcare industry regulations and maintain supporting documentation. Requirements Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. 5+ years of R&D experience in medical imaging, computer vision, or machine learning. Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. Advanced programming skills in Python and C++. Experience with large-scale data processing and managing complex datasets. Familiarity with medical imaging formats and datasets (e.g., DICOM, mammography, CT, MRI) is highly preferred. Strong understanding of AI model validation techniques and healthcare regulatory requirements. Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to generate patentable ideas and contribute to intellectual property development. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with explainable AI (XAI) and model interpretability in medical applications. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS) for AI deployment. Knowledge of biostatistics, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.
