Job Description
Seeking an experienced professional in restraint system development, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and fast-paced work ethic. The candidate will be a key contributor to a high-performance engineering team, ensuring technical excellence and efficient program execution throughout the product lifecycle.

Extensive experience in restraint system (airbags) development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound engineering judgments under pressure.
• Proven track record of working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Capable of managing multiple suppliers and validation programs effectively.
• Able to document, communicate, and act with precision and urgency

• Lead development of airbag systems from concept through production and post-SOP maintenance.
• Own technical performance, cost, timing, and quality targets for the airbag product line.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design studio, ergonomics, BIW, interior engineering) to optimize restraint system packaging.
• Manage Tier 1 suppliers for engineering development and program milestones.
• Plan and execute validation activities for subsystem integration (testing, logistics, analysis, and troubleshooting).
• Provide expertise in airbag and restraint system design to meet vehicle-level targets.
• Support crash testing and vehicle homologation, ensuring correct parts and documentation are used.
• Drive knowledge-sharing efforts (guidelines, lessons learned, platform planning).
