BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules
  • Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools & processes
  • Technical Experience in Flight & Ground Loads, Noise & Vibration, Flutter, Strength, Fatigue, Propulsion, Aerodynamics/Performance, Flying Qualities, Stability & Control, and/or Structural Dynamics
  • Experience in Financial analysis, Integrated scheduling, Business development, Program management, and/or Supplier management

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • Ability to proactively communicate with various leadership team/s, peers and customers
    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
