Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Senior Allocations & Lettings Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London.
In this role, you will lead a team to deliver a customer-focused allocations and lettings service while ensuring compliance with housing legislation and supporting the community’s housing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience managing and supporting a team in a housing or property management environment.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, allocations, lettings, and statutory guidance.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles, handling complex enquiries and vulnerable clients.
• Experience working within performance management frameworks and reporting on key indicators.

• Lead and manage a team to deliver social housing allocations, lettings, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, council policies, and performance targets.
• Provide advice, support, and solutions to applicants and residents, including vulnerable people.
• Collaborate with colleagues, partners, and contractors to maintain high-quality service and manage void properties.
