Description

The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.
The Opportunity
As part of the analog mixed signal IC design team, architect and develop new world class Magnetic Sensors Product. Create innovative and highly differentiated product sensors for automotive, emerging personal mobility, robotics, and industrial automation applications.

What You Will Do

  • Define, design, evaluate, and debug Analog and Mixed Signal Integrated circuits.
  • Design and verify integrated circuit blocks such as amplifiers, comparators, precision front ends, oscillators, regulators, ADCs, DACs.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop evolutionary and optimized platform/IP solutions.
  • Determine best design and simulation practices, including the use of behavioral models.
  • Develop top level simulation plan to verify datasheet specifications.
  • Work with Systems Engineering to define key blocks from concept to production.
  • Lead the design, simulation, evaluation, and documentation of state-of-the-art sensor products.
  • Provide guidance and supervise layout floor-planning along with post-layout simulations.
  • Provide support for post-silicon bring-up (characterization, statistical analysis, setting test limits, review silicon performance and analyzing pre-production test data) and debugging by collaborating with Product, Systems, Verification and Validation Engineers.
  • Support Automotive Functional Safety work products such as FMEDA, DFMEA.
  • Competitive benchmarking for key IP/technology.
  • Enhance existing design process and methodology. Help team in adoption of improvements, innovative approaches, and tools for improving design quality and efficiency.

Hybrid office/home work schedule.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in CMOS or BiCMOS IC design, and with IC design / verification and layout tools, or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of the same experience, or PhD. in Electrical Engineering or related field with coursework in integrated circuit design
