Our Protected Communications Systems (PCS) business, which delivers Resilient National, Strategic, and Tactical Communication Solutions and Integrated C3 Mission Capability Solutions to the US and Allied Nations, is seeking a Senior Analog Servo Motor Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete analog design of a motor control from inception through layout and assembly. Responsibilities include the ability to follow hardware design requirements, observe design checklists, adhere to accepted processes, prepare design documentation and work within a team environment. The ability to coordinate with Layout, Systems, Mechanical, Test, FPGA, and Software engineers is a must. Moreover, proficiency with analog and mixed‐signal circuits is desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proficient in Schematic Design - Parts selection, Schematic capture, Library management, and Parts Lists creation
  • Proficient with EE Design Tools: MATLAB, SIMULINK, Keysight ADS, and Mentor Graphics
  • Experience in Artwork (ODB++) validation, reviewing, and approving PWB/CCA drawing sets
  • Proven ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design and verifying via test and integration
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Experience with design of Antenna Pedestal Assemblies and or Robotics
  • Knowledgeable of IPC Standards for PCB Design and Fabrication
  • Knowledgeable of IEEE, MIL standards
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency with analog and mixed‐signal circuits
