TITLE: Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics (Michael Kors USA, Inc., 11 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036)
DUTIES: Responsible for understanding and advancing the company’s knowledge of customer behavior through analytics in order to develop strategies and recommendations to inform Michael Kors messaging and marketing to specific customer segments as well as enhancing the customer experience. Serve as an expert on the “Voice of the Consumer” by developing and disseminating customer, store, and/or product insights and analyses that support customer engagement programs, including the measurement of targeted programs. Work collaboratively with the other marketing groups, such as CRM, retail, social media, events and direct marketing. Analyze customer data to answer business questions and concerns while producing data-driven stories that reveal key insights into consumer behavior. Deliver compelling customer insights and clear recommendations that materially improve the ability to achieve short and long term business goals as well as analyze customer data to articulate customer, store, and/or product profiles, segmentations, migration, and trending analyses as well as to perform LTV (Lifetime Value) and predictive modeling. Introduce innovations that enable us to understand our audience and customers better and more efficiently while working collaboratively with internal business partners to develop and deliver accurate and pertinent customer, product, and/or store insights that enhance and guide effective decision making.
Position is fixed based in NYC. Telecommuting may be permitted.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or comparable data discipline or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or related occupation in analytics, research, and/or data science. Two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Experience working with and understanding data at the customer/client level using one (1) or more statistical languages (i.e. SPSS, Python, R). Experience leveraging statistical methodologies, including classification and predictive modeling, to drive business outcomes. Experience automating dashboards and generating insights using (1) or more data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Einstein Analytics, R Shiny). Experience querying relational databases using SQL statements. Experience manipulating and analyzing data in Excel, including the use of advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX, conditional formatting). Experience leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with Big Data (5+ terabytes). Experience with presenting to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership. Experience collaborating with cross-functional business partners to define and solve ambiguous business problems. One (1) year of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Experience comparing samples and leveraging hypothesis testing (i.e tests of proportion and means). Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. EOE.
SALARY: $108,306 - $125,000 per year
