What You’ll Do
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage within BCG’s Consumer and Tech and Digital Advantage (TDA) Practice Areas you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
You will support commercialization efforts for the Retail Tech topic working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.

• Ability to work autonomously and with a strong entrepreneurial thinking spirit. The candidate will need to develop a strong business-building focus in order to operate/influence effectively stakeholders in an international matrix organization and identify where the Vantage Team can be involved to better support case teams
• Consulting skills and approach will be key to succeed in the role when supporting case teams
• Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in Retail Tech
• Communicating with case teams and stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
• Navigating complexity and ambiguity

What You’ll Bring

• We are seeking a candidate experienced with AI, evolving digital tools, and capabilities and how they can drive retail tech architecture and tech and data platforms at our clients
• The candidate is expected to have knowledge in at least two or more of the following topics: GenAI topics in retail, Retail tech architecture, Tech and data platforms, ERP Systems, Cloud systems,
• 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant retail AI & technology topics required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Fluency in English
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.

We expect total annualized compensation for Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Washington D.C. employees to be approximately the following:

• Base salary between $108,750 - $117,500; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
• Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16%
• 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
