The Data Management and Reporting Senior Analyst job manages data management and reporting projects and processes to ensure that data is collected, housed and used securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Working independently with limited supervision, this job guides the design and implementation of data management, data storage and other business intelligence systems, and works to support the configuring, maintaining, generating and analyzing reports to support the organization’s decision making process. This job also coaches and reviews the work of lower level team members.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supports the development and implementation of data management and reporting programs and policies to support data driven decision making across the organization.
  • Coordinates the collection of information, analysis of data and generation of reports by utilizing various data applications.
  • Works to optimize the design and maintenance of reports, dashboards, information systems and applications to ensure efficient reporting across the organization.
  • Manages the development or modification of currently established data management and reporting processes and procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Designs workflows to ensure accuracy of financial and operational information entered into the system and leads the testing of new features of the system as they are implemented to verify accuracy.
  • Identifies potential impacts of significant data management and reporting issues to ensure availability, integrity and accuracy of data.
