* Be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that values your contributions * Partner closely with pricing teams to design and implement modelling solutions * Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne CBD location / hybrid wfh * Permanent role The Senior Analyst, Data Science plays a key role within the Pricing & Analytics team, delivering advanced data science and modelling solutions to support strategic pricing decisions across the insurance business. This role is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving end-to-end modelling frameworks that enable scalable, efficient, and high-quality risk and demand modelling. The position partners closely with pricing teams and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and robust pricing strategies. What you’ll do: •                    Maintain and improve end-to-end modelling frameworks for risk and demand, aligned to business requirements •                    Enhance and maintain the internal R-based modelling ecosystem to support scalable and repeatable model development •                    Drive continuous improvement in modelling approaches, including feature engineering, model diagnostics, and validation techniques •                    Provide technical advice and training to the wider pricing team, specifically in the use of R and modelling best practice •                    Conduct full model updates on risk and demand models •                    Migrate legacy SAS processes to DataBricks, optimising workflows by leveraging the platform’s full suite of tools and capabilities. What you’ll bring: •                    Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (in an Advanced Analytical or Data Science related field of work) •                    Hands-on experience in programming (e.g. R, Python, SAS or similar) •                    Experience within the financial services or insurance industry is advantageous but not essential •                    Ability to effectively communicate advanced technical concepts and willing to help and support others •                    Willingness to learn and use R at an advanced level for day-to-day work.
