This is an exciting time to join the First Nations Health Authority as part of the Evaluation Team, as we lead and support large-scale provincial and system-level evaluations of programs, services, policies, partnerships, and agreements, to support strategic decision-making and ongoing transformation of the First Nations health governance structure in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and 7 Directives.
Title: Senior Evaluation Analyst
Salary: $88,948 - $104,644 - $ 120,341 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 9am- 5pm Mon- Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations – (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy)Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

EDUCATION

  • University Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences or related field with specialization in program evaluation, health, epidemiology, education, or applied research, plus 5 to 7 years of relevant related experience in program evaluation and reviews, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding of the First Nations Health Governance Structure in BC an asset
  • Recent, relevant and extensive experience in program evaluation and reviews
  • Experience utilizing multiple evaluation methodologies (e.g., developmental, formative, summative, and empowerment)
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative and research methodologies and statistics
  • Experience developing data quality and reporting systems
  • Experience providing strategic level expert advice
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and environmental scans
  • Knowledge and experience of using Indigenous evaluation approaches and methodologies an asset
Responsibilities

As a Senior Evaluation Analyst, you will provide support in accordance with the mission and vision of the First Nations Health Authority, and the 7 Directives, the senior evaluation analyst provides senior-level evaluation services, including: leading and supporting large-scale evaluations; leading and facilitating knowledge gathering activities; conducting data reviews, analyses, and summarizations; producing various knowledge exchange products; and providing expert input and advice.
