JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice President IT, the Senior Analyst is responsible for the development of application in the JDE 9.2 environment as well as resolving day-to-day technical issues and providing functional support and maintenance of JD Edwards 9.2 as well as related third-party software and integration. The incumbent is also responsible for providing training, guidance, and immediate support to all users in all locations of the company.

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Has held a similar role in related field for a minimum of 7 years, ideally 10+ years’ experience
• Solid experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 technical foundation tools and CNC functionality. Knowledge of the JDE Development Environment (JDE 9.2)
• Experience in supporting and maintaining JD Edwards Enterprise One Financial (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets), procurement, inventory management, and work order management models
• Knowledge of complex application development and system support
• Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical languages as well as ability to present issues to management team in professional and informative manner
• Strong analytical skills and writing skills (documentation)
• Ability to quickly grasp, articulate and document complicated business and technical issues
• Ability to work closely in a team environment with both business users and developers, as well as independently, with changing priorities
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Kronos (UKG), time management expertise, an asset

As the primary person responsible for the development of applications in JDE 9.2 environment as well as to resolve day-to-day technical issues and providing functional support and maintenance of JD Edwards 9.2 as well as related third-party software and integrations, the incumbent will also be responsible for: (done)

• Primary responsibility for day-to-day technical and functional support and maintenance of JD Edwards 9.2 as well as related third-party software and integrations. This includes Responding to end-user support requests and issues; Analyzing errors and discrepancies in systems and processes; Providing resolutions or making recommendations; Configuring and modifying configuration parameters and system processes based on user needs.
• Development and maintenance of reporting systems to make operational and business intelligence data accessible to users, as needed or on schedule and support complex ad-hoc queries to support short-term information needs.
• Strong knowledge of the JDE development environment – JDE 9.2
• Gather system specifications from users
• Responding to end-user support requests and issues
• Analyze errors and discrepancies in systems and processes
• Provide resolutions and/or recommendations, configure, and modify configuration parameters and system processes based on user needs
• Develop process flow models to provide a clear understanding of existing business processes and system interactions as well as changes to support process improvement and meet corporate objectives
• Design and implementation of automation process to improve operational efficiency
• Create and execute test plans to validate correctness of information systems solutions and ensure that all business requirements have been sufficiently met
• Develop and deliver related end-user training materials in accordance with organizational standards
• Develop and maintain reporting systems to make operational and business intelligence data accessible to users, as required or on-schedule and support complex ad-hoc queries to support short-term information needs
