POSITION SUMMARY:
Support and enhance the reliability of our financial and membership management systems. This role bridges the gap between finance operations and system functionality, ensuring our tools meet the evolving needs of the organization and our members. Act as main liaison with respect to systems with the IT department staff.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, computer science, or a related field
· 3–5 years of experience in financial systems, business analysis, or finance operations.
· Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience working on finance-related technology projects with membership databases as well as ERP and/or accounting software.
· Working experience with MS Business Central.
· CPA or QA certification.
· SQL or data analysis experience.
· Manage and optimize financial systems by recommending improvements to financial systems and workflows and ensuring accurate and timely financial data across systems.
· Translating financial needs into technical specifications and system solutions by performing system testing, user acceptance testing, documentation of financial systems and developing test scripts.
· Support and implement system upgrades, implementations, integrations and migrations
· Ensure financial systems comply with internal controls, audit standards and regulatory requirements
· Developing relationships with customers to gain insights into their needs to drive decision making on product design.
· Fosters cross-functional collaboration by building relationships, sharing knowledge, providing resources, leading initiatives to improve team effectiveness, coaching others through diverse inputs, and leading diverse teams to solicit unique solutions.
· Demonstrates a basic understanding of Agile methodologies and concepts, actively participates in sprint or project cycle meetings, and assumes ownership of assigned tasks.
· Articulates the purpose of change, supports others in navigating change or ambiguity, assists team members in overcoming challenges and applying learnings from past experiences.
· Provides quality feedback to, and welcomes feedback from, team members.
