THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to internal mobility, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the FP&A and Origination team at our Sydney Office. This position is being recruited as a 12 month contract.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating new business opportunities by providing comprehensive financial assessments to aid decision-making. You will also offer valuable business and industry insights to help achieve optimal financial outcomes for the Group. ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for an inquisitive and self-motivated candidate that excels in Financial & Commercial Analysis, Collaboration & Partnering, and has a keen eye for Commercial & Organisational Risk. Ideally you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification/s is required
  • CA / CPA / CFA or equivalent post graduate qualification is required
  • Experience in analytical focused roles in finance and/or commercial assessments
  • Financial modelling experience desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated time management skills and working under pressure to meet deadlines

Responsibilities
  • Support the Group financial impacts assessment of potential investment or divestment activities across the business, including acquisitions, developments, and disposals.
  • Assist with delivering Group financial scenarios for submission to the Stockland Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board.
  • Support proactive engagement with stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks, drivers of revenue, costs and capital expenditure to understand their implications for the Group.
  • Collaborate and build partnerships with key internal stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships with functions including Finance, Business Development and Strategy.
  • Prepare reporting to monitor key performance drivers and assist key stakeholders in reaching their performance targets.
  • Support team success by enhancing collaboration amongst team members and the Group, sharing ideas, knowledge and experience, and seeking to learn from other team members.
  • Prepare accurate and effective communication materials and reports as required and promptly.
  • Utilise analytical methods to identify improvement opportunities, seeking to gain synergies using the appropriate data, systems, and tools available.
