POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Analyst FP&A (Financial Analytics and Reporting) plays a critical role in transforming how we use data to drive smart, strategic decisions across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who blends technical skill with business curiosity, and is excited by the opportunity to improve processes, automate reporting, and translate insights into action. You’ll be partnering closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Medical Management, Vendor Management and other teams to deliver insights that matter.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This Senior Analyst FP&A role blends technical skill, business understanding, and creative problem-solving. The will lead efforts in pulling and connecting data, building dashboards, identifying trends, and telling clear stories with insights. You’ll work with tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel—and you’ll collaborate with stakeholders who rely on you to make data approachable, trustworthy, and valuable.
This is a unique opportunity to help redefine how data powers business decisions across the enterprise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or automation roles, including financial reporting.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial acumen and data analytics work.
  • 4+ years experience working with SQL, Power BI and Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in health insurance, managed care, or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Project management experience or equivalent work experience.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Analyze data trends and patterns to identify insights, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions that guide key decisions.
  • Validate data and documentation to ensure integrity, accuracy, and quality across deliverables.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and reporting specifications.
  • Create and automate recurring reports using SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Excel.
  • Continuously improve and refine reporting processes, standards, and tools.
  • Work cross-functionally to align reporting with strategic business priorities.
  • Engage in data audits, workflow validations, and resolution of data quality issues.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders across departments including Compliance, Medical Management, and Vendor Operations.
  • Act as a partner in innovation—exploring tools like AI, predictive analytics, and automation platforms (e.g., Nadia, Artey) to enhance reporting impact.
  • Escalate issues proactively and work collaboratively to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support change management efforts and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
