POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of Chief Controls Office - Sr. Analyst, Front Line Controls Officer at Webster Bank will play a critical leadership role in overseeing and strengthening the bank’s control environment. This individual will be responsible for leading risk identification, assessment and mitigation across Front Line Control Office functions, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments execution, issue management and remediation, risk metrics, and other initiatives, while ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring experience in Operational Risk Management, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Controls Design, Issue Management, and have previous experience in Corporate Responsibility, Human Resources, and/or Legal in the banking sector. This individual will also be involved with strategic and transformational initiatives and the delivery of critical, large-scale, complex, high-visibility, regulatory remediation programs.

This role has a hybrid work schedule and is ideally based in our Waterbury or Southington offices. Additional corporate locations available in CT and NY.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $110,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
