WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), plays a critical role in Bain & Company’s Enterprise Risk Management team. This position ensures the continuity and execution of ERM initiatives, focusing on strengthening Bain’s risk culture, enhancing risk reporting, and improving the firm’s risk ecosystem maturity. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Senior Analyst collaborates with key stakeholders, including Legal, Human Capital, Global Safety and Security, and Cybersecurity, to drive effective risk management strategies.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise risk framework, conducting in-depth risk analyses, and preparing reports that communicate risk status, emerging trends, and mitigation strategies. Additionally, the Senior Analyst supports continuous improvements in risk management processes and governance to ensure Bain operates within a robust and proactive risk framework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Development of the Enterprise Risk Framework: Assist in the foundational build-out of ERM processes and documentation. Help establish risk management principles and align evolving risk practices with Bain’s broader business objectives.
Conduct Risk Analyses: Gather and analyze risk-related data to identify key concerns. Contribute to developing risk approaches and mitigation strategies while staying informed about industry trends.
Assist in Risk Reporting: Support the creation of risk reports, briefings, and presentations to provide visibility into emerging risks and ongoing initiatives. Work closely with stakeholders to refine reporting structures as the function matures.
Contribute to Governance and Risk Initiatives: Work with internal teams to integrate risk awareness into key business functions. Assist in drafting risk-related policies and guidelines as the ERM function evolves.
Facilitate Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, support alignment on risk priorities, and contribute to discussions on ERM’s growth within the organization.
Assist in the implementation of Risk IT tools: Support transition to the new risk system by partnering with the TSG team. Conduct user acceptance tests, resolve bugs, and develop business requirements. Support project management activities using SCRUM methodology.
