Job Description JD for Senior Analyst FP&A, Global Supply Chain Finance Role Job Title: Senior Analyst – Global Supply Chain Finance Band - 14 Department: Supply Chain Finance Industry: Preferably from FMCG Mfg. Industry Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Direct Reports To: Manager – Global Supply Chain Finance at GCC Ahmedabad Functionally Reports To: FP&A Lead of Global SCF Timing: 12-1 PM to 9-10 PM Indian time Work Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH) Position Summary: We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented finance professional to join the Global Supply Chain Finance team. The role will support financial planning, performance management, cost optimization, and business partnering across manufacturing, procurement, logistics and operations functions globally. The candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and driving strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities: Act as finance business partner to the Global Operation Leadership Team, proactively supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. Updating & developing MIS dashboards using SAP, Power BI, and Excel for deeper performance insights. Drive achievement of the AOP through financial insights, variance analysis, and corrective action tracking. Provide support on Month closing activities, annual budgeting, and long-term key priorities for supply chain functions. Analyze cost drivers across manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, and logistics. Ensure preparation and explanation of monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance reports vs plan, forecast, and prior year. Ensure reliability, accuracy, and timeliness of management information. Provide financial input for senior management and stakeholder presentations. Support decision-making through financial analysis and business case evaluations. Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost optimization. Build a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Improve systems, processes, and controls to prevent data errors and enhance efficiency. Drive automation and process improvements in reporting and analytics. Understand technical integration for financial data and closely collaborate with data transformation team Key Stakeholders Operations Leader Global & Zone SCF team Qualifications and skills: Education: Any Finance related Bachelor & master’s degree Experience: 5-10 years of experience in supply chain finance, FP&A, factory controller role. Experience in a global or multinational environment with FMCG exposure is preferrable Proven track record in managing and optimizing supply chain processes. Technical Skills: ERP: SAP Power BI, Advanced MS Excel & Power Point Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and contribute with cross-functional teams. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
