Job Description An exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Indirect Tax has become available within the National Finance and Administration department of ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent opportunity. What does the role look like? Lead Indirect Tax compliance obligations, focusing on GST, FBT, and Land tax & levies. Act as a subject matter expert and work effectively with key business stakeholders to address and resolve complex tax related matters by providing high quality tax advice. Maintain and enhance ALDI’s high standard of tax governance and tax risk management, including regular policy reviews, process & control optimisation. Contribute to the preparation of tax position papers, rulings, and internal memos, providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making. Manage projects within the Tax Team and ensure tax considerations are integrated into broader initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies, processes, and controls to enhance business efficiency, driving positive change in tax-related workflows. Remain up to date with all relevant legislation and maintain ALDI’s tax governance framework to minimise risk and ensure compliance. And the best part? Qualifications CA/CPA Qualified or master’s degree in Tax, essential. Previous Corporate Tax experience (either in Professional Services Firm or large Corporate), preferred. Demonstrated experience in driving positive change in tax-related workflows. A team player with an exceptional ability to engage with and support stakeholders including at an International / Head Office level. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and innovative work environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes. Experience with the development, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of international tax compliance management systems.
