Job Summary: The purpose of the role is to hire a resource to work as part of the GST litigation team as well as other engagements related to GST and Other Indirect tax laws. How you will contribute You will: 1. Litigation & Notice Management • Support handling of GST notices, audits, and appeals. • Maintain tracker for ongoing litigation matters and statutory timelines. • Assist in drafting submissions, replies, and reconciliation statements. • Coordinate with external consultants, legal counsels, and internal stakeholders. • Compile case laws, legal research, and supporting documentation. • Travel Pan-India for representing before GST authorities (as and when required). 2. Documentation & Data Management • Maintain centralized repository of litigation documents and orders. • Support data extraction and reconciliations required for litigation. 3. Cross-Functional Coordination • Work closely with finance, supply chain, and business teams to gather information. • Support resolution of tax positions through fact validation and analysis. 4. Risk Monitoring & Insights • Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions. • Assist in developing standard responses and litigation playbooks. 5. Support in refund claims under GST • Preparation of timely refund claims under GST • Engage with authorities for processing of claims What you will bring Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret data Strong verbal and written communication skills Team player who can work with many other functions Education / Certifications/ Experience: 1. CA / CA-Inter /LLB/ Diploma in Taxation (mainly GST) 2. Mandatory Industry experience 3.
