This includes the use of both manual and automated testing to ensure that software not only functions as the end user expects but also that software is in compliance with Ryan standards. Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results People: Create a positive team experience. Maintains a schedule of testing across multiple software applications to ensure prompt feedback to developers. Provides feedback to Business Analysts to ensure that requirements are clear and specific enough to convey the needs of the business. Client: Proactive work status update US / India liaison. Value: Develops, executes, and maintains test plans. Effectively creates and executes the test cases manually or using automation tools like selenium or Katalon. Reads and translates requirements into meaningful testing plans. Executes test plans and provides meaningful feedback on results. Works with Application developers to resolve issues and document bugs. Works with Microsoft Team Foundation Server to document test plans and document issues in the appropriate manner. Develops and maintains documentation for all testing activities either in spread sheets or in DevOps. Assumes responsibility for the quality and compliance with standards and requirements for all Ryan applications. Alerts Developers to potential issues in a constant feedback loop. Performs other duties as needed and assigned. Test set creation and smoke/regression testing of the applications during the application release. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems preferred or equivalent work experience. 6-10 years of hands-on administration experience with Software Quality Assurance and issue documentation. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium or Katalon. Good to Have: Exposure to Forecasting, Revenue, Invoice, or Bonus would be an added advantage. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication skills; and excellent customer service skills and attitude. Experience with Microsoft DevOps and Visual Studio Test Professional. Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license required. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer. Occasional long periods of standing while copying. Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients, in person, via email, and telephone. Independent travel requirement: none.
