Job details •Proposed designation Senior Analyst •Role type Individual Contributor •Reporting to AM/ Manager •Geo to be supported UK-Swiss Group •Work timings: UK working hours •Work mode: Hybrid Roles & responsibilities •Collaborate with the Engagement Finance Champions team to support financial operations and objectives across various business areas. •Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business operations being supported and actively learn about associated finance processes to integrate them effectively into daily tasks. •Address and resolve process and administrative queries that fall outside the scope of other Finance support teams, leveraging a workflow management system to track and manage these queries to completion. •Review Work In Progress (WIP) reports to identify areas of risk and highlight potential billing opportunities, ensuring proactive financial management. •Monitor and report any underperformance by Engagement Leaders and Managers, ensuring these issues are addressed and performance improvements are implemented where necessary. •Engage with key stakeholders, including Engagement Partners and Managers, to ensure comprehension of the lock-up cycle and meeting of lock-up targets. •Organize and lead discussions with Engagement Partners and Managers to outline, strategize, and execute billing actions aligned with organizational financial goals. •Enforce adherence to established finance processes and policies, escalating any deviations to maintain compliance and financial integrity. •Act as an advocate and promoter for finance-driven change initiatives such as adopting automation tools, implementing self-service solutions, and achieving process standardization for improved efficiency. •Maintain and continually update the team's knowledge bases and process documentation, ensuring information is readily accessible and accurate to support team learning and development. · This role is for you if you have the below Work experience •B.Com (Hons) degree is required; advanced degrees, such as an MBA, are highly desirable. •Proven track record of managing transitions and effectively integrating new roles, particularly within the UK geographical context. •A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in management accounting. •Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, specifically IFRS 15, and expertise in fixed asset and intercompany accounting. •Familiarity with overseas taxation laws and regulations is beneficial. •Proven experience in driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. •Experience with S/4HANA or any related SAP ERP system is considered a plus. •Resilience and the ability to work effectively with multiple and demanding stakeholders. •Strong problem-solving abilities.
