JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Analyst – LC-MS/MS for our Bioanalysis team at the Senneville location, you will pass on your expertise to the technical staff with the aim of maintaining the quality of the work. You will also perfectly master most of the techniques in the department.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Plan, prepare and optimize LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems for sample injection;
  • Verify system parameters and injection methods to ensure compliance with analytical procedures;
  • Maintain inventory of instrumentation room supplies and columns;
  • Provide technical assistance to scientists in solving problems related to instrumentation and/or analytical methods;
  • Prepare system solutions as required according to analytical procedures;
  • Work in collaboration with teammates on different shifts;
  • Collect and process analytical data according to GLP.

KEY ELEMENTS

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role: à

  • At least a DEC science degree (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or any other related field);
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience as an Analyst with LC-MS/MS and/or HPLC-UV;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Be autonomous, reliable and possess good organizational skills;
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to change;
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Must be available during daytime schedule (7am to 3:15pm) & evening schedules (12pm to 7:15pm). Depending on the business needs, you will have to work either days or evenings. Also, overtime will be occasional depending on the workload;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
