Key responsibilities include: * Ensuring appropriate systems, processes and reporting is in place to provide the internal managers with an accurate investment book of records; * Assisting in overseeing the delivery of transaction management and valuation processes provided by the Middle Office provider; * Timely and accurate processing of new OTC trades, lifecycles and settlements; * Managing Trade Lifecycle within Calypso and/or Aladdin to support the booking, confirmation, settlement and reconciliation process for products associated with our internal portfolios – Fixed Income, Money Market, Repo, Equity, FX and OTC/ETD derivatives; * Supporting transition activity by ensuring PMS and other systems are accurately updated; * Providing timely query resolution and escalating to Management where appropriate; * Developing a strong working relationship with the members of the Internal Management teams to achieve best outcomes for the fund. This may include organizing and chairing meetings with other Internal Management teams regularly to analyze issues and collaborate for a way forward; * Providing coverage for the team members and the Manager during absences; * Providing input to projects as SME to support the growth of Investment Operations.   What You’ll Need * Previous experience within a buy side fund manager or pension fund; * A proven track record within a middle office environment; * Experience in Aladdin highly regarded and Calypso is beneficial but not essential; * Proficient user of trade confirmation platforms such as MarkitWire, DS Match, ICE Clear, FXall; * Strong stakeholder management ability and effective communication skills; * A willingness to be hands on and undertake operational activity; * A high level of attention to detail and ability to meet delivery deadlines.   Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
