Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – TEMPORARY FULL-TIME ROLE FOR UP TO 12 MONTHS

Salary - $125,693.00 pa - $138,510.00 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

YOUR ROLE

Work with a team of analysts using data to help the department understand its clients’ needs and service delivery performance.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in undertaking targeted analysis, developing new metrics and interactive reporting tools to help improve DCJ its services.

Help drive departmental decisions with meaningful data analysis and insights. Work in a team to provide evidence to inform policy and operational practice that directly supports the people of NSW. Be part of an exciting transition to using cutting edge business analytics tools.
Join the Performance Analysis and Insights team, a high-performing team of analysts who work on analysing and understanding high profile topics such as High-Cost Emergency Arrangements and Out-of-Home-Care Reform. The Senior Analyst requires the following in addition to role description capabilities:

  • Advanced skills and proven experience in using either: R Studio/R, Python or similar, for data analysis.
  • Proven experience in drawing insights through data and data analysis and ability to present findings to non-technical audiences
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders
