Job Description The Payroll Operations Analyst will play a key role in improving time tracking compliance, providing escalation support and streamlining payroll processes. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, and Business Operations to ensure time tracking compliance, accurate reporting and timely approvals. • Monitor daily timesheet entries and follow up with employees consistently to ensure timely and complete submissions • Support semi-monthly payroll cycles by validating hours, identifying missing entries, and coordinating manual submissions when needed • Manage and escalate time tracking issues, including missed clock-ins, overtime thresholds, and job abandonment triggers • Build and maintain process maps for time tracking, approvals, and escalation workflows to ensure clarity and accountability • Route time off and timesheet approvals to appropriate stakeholders and track resolution status to avoid payroll delays • Analyze trends in overtime, missed punches, and unbudgeted payroll costs; provide insights and recommendations to leadership • Support time tracking efforts by creating job aids, FAQs, and onboarding materials that reinforce t ime tracking policies • Provide technical support in Workday, including generating time tracking related reports for HRBPs and leadership • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data while ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies• 2 - 3 + years of experience in payroll operations, HRIS, or time tracking • Familiarity with Workday, especially Time Tracking and Payroll modules • Strong Excel and reporting skills; comfortable with Microsoft 365 tools • Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Able to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality • Experience supporting compliance, escalations, and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, People Analytics, or a related field
