This role spans across statutory reporting, corporate reporting, and management reporting, requiring close partnership with finance leaders across functions (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Business Finance) while maintaining a solid operational alignment with the China Local Controller. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, multinational environment with complex reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Statutory & Compliance Reporting Support the preparation, review, and submission of certain statutory financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements. Assist with external audits, including coordination with audit firms, documentation requests, and issue resolution. Ensure timely completion of statutory obligations, reconciliations, disclosures, and internal sign-offs. 2. Corporate & US GAAP Reporting Support monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data submitted into corporate systems. Perform variance analysis and reconciliations between local GAAP and US GAAP. Maintain reporting templates, schedules, and standard work for corporate consolidation requirements. 3. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement Partner closely with finance functional leaders (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Business Finance, etc.) to ensure alignment and accuracy of reporting inputs. Communicate with regional and corporate finance teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth reporting handoffs. Collaborate with operations and business teams when financial clarity or input is required. 5. Process Improvement & Controls Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve data integrity. Support system enhancements and reporting automation initiatives in collaboration with IT and corporate systems teams. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain control evidence where applicable. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA or equivalent credential preferred. 3–5+ years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or accounting roles. Strong understanding of GAAP, and statutory reporting processes. Experience with major ERP or consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, OneStream, Hyperion) preferred. Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
