Job Description The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of pesticide residues in food and feed samples using advanced analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS. The role includes instrument operation, maintenance, calibration, preparation of standards, documentation, and ensuring compliance with laboratory quality management systems. Perform analysis of pesticide residues in food and feed samples as per validated methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instruments to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine calibration and performance verification of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems. Maintain and manage certified reference standards, including inventory control, storage conditions, and expiry tracking. Measurement of uncertainty. Ensure accurate documentation of analytical data, calibration records, maintenance logs, and quality control results. Adhere to laboratory quality systems, and safety procedures. Participate in method validation, proficiency testing, and internal quality assurance activities. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
