Job Title: Manufacturing Data Management Technical Expert Your Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced expert to facilitate and enable the implementation of the digitalization roadmap specially in the field of manufacturing data connectivity and analytics. Working in a team of data management experts, you will be responsible for design, development, test, documentation and delivery on the business requirements related to manufacturing analytics. You explore digital use cases to expand the scope of solutions across the manufacturing sectors. In your role you explain and implement the pathway to connect source platforms such as LIMS, MES, Data Historian, QMS and ERP to analytical platforms such as Statistica, Discoverant and others in an optimal way. Further you enable manufacturing sites to take maximal advantage of the existing digital infrastructure. You will also be responsible for operational activities such as troubleshooting different existing workflows, assemble large and complex data sets Last not least you will be involved in various IT services management topics like incident Management, problem management, change and release management. Who you are: Since your exam in IT, engineering or natural science, you have collected 7 or more years of solid experience in industrial IT with an emphasis on analytical tools such as STATISTICA or DISCOVERANT. This role further requires a good understanding of manufacturing data in batch and discrete manufacturing processes. A strong architectural knowledge of information transfer protocols and interfaces on the OT level paired with awareness of the ISA95 concepts is very helpful. Experience working with big data ecosystem like MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Oozie, Kafka and any NoSQL databases is a plus. You work highly independently on the basis of business objectives and guidelines. You know to act and react in international corporate environments with multiple service teams and stakeholders. A very strong service orientation paired with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership is close to your character. You may explain in excellent English language what you do, how you do it and why you do it to a larger audience of stakeholders and managers.
