Responsibilities

As a senior analyst on the Technology & Policy Center (TPC) team, you will serve a key role in advancing Verizon’s public policy engagement strategy. The TPC team sits at the intersection of technology and policy, and works closely with Verizon’s strategic alliances, public policy, and government affairs teams to leverage the physical center to create opportunities to connect with key stakeholders in the DC area.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing compelling narratives that showcase the transformative powers of technology on industry and society as a whole.
  • Leading tours through our experience/demo area with important stakeholders.
  • Managing the coordination and logistics of all activity in the TPC, working closely with vendors, outside guests and Verizon colleagues to ensure successful events.
  • Being responsible for day-of event setup and support.
  • Remaining in frequent communication with the Verizon business segments and curate a selection of technologies that showcase Verizon’s capabilities and highlight innovation.
  • Coordinating with the Senior Manager of the TPC and contributing to cross-functional projects involving public policy messaging, stakeholder engagement, and event strategy.
  • Interacting professionally in high-visibility settings, including engagements with external stakeholders such as congressional staff, agency officials, and industry leaders.
