Major/Essential Functions
Drafts, edits, tracks and manages workflow of various forms of development communications, in conjunction with Assistant VP for Development and Associate Director, including but not limited to donor profiles and donor correspondence such as congratulatory, birthday and thank you notes.
Tracking and reporting of disbursement of donor-funded scholarships to students as it relates to the team’s mission, goals, and communications; seasonally coordinate the flow of scholarship documents and information for stewardship purposes and collateral.
Assist Event Coordinator on as-needed basis.
Works to support Vice President of Advancement and Assistant Vice President of Development as directed, including but not limited to drafting and editing text for appeals, marketing, communications, correspondence, and working with colleges and deans’ staffs, student organizations, financial aid.
Conceive and design appeals; pull and edit recipient lists for appeals, and otherwise support. Will be adept at utilizing cloud-based platforms for disseminating appeals and communications, and tracking data.
Assist Director of Stewardship & Annual Giving taking over or play a key part in duties including, but not limited to: Composing Annual Giving appeals, pulling and cleaning data files, and assist in Annual Giving-related events.
Build relationships with campus partners to maintain and improve scholarship-related communications and stewardship efforts, donor engagement initiatives, and support fundraising activities.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Three (3) years related experience; OR
Combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
Preferred Qualifications
Office skills beyond word processing, such as basic database skills. Interest/experience in university development/advancement.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), as well as great presentation skills.
Excellent writing.
