We’re seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping analytics for our product.

  • 60% of your time will be dedicated to spearheading our analytics work and building the foundation of analytics and insights. Telling a compelling story with our data through statistics and visualizations is key to success
  • 30% of your time will be devoted to data engineering: helping us build and maintain strong, performant pipelines.
  • 10% of your time will be dedicated to moving the team forward strategically: whether that is flexing into your AI/ML skillset to help with our recommender systems or digging into a customer question.

You will:

  • Own problem spaces from 0 to 1. This starts with defining product requirements with stakeholders to maintaining your products. .
  • Set the standard for high-quality analytics. Performance, repeatability, impact should be second-nature
  • Uphold best practices in data governance, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance across data systems

YOUR SKILLS

  • BI tool expertise: Looker or equivalents (Tableau)
  • Technical programming: Python scripting & SQL-type querying
  • Data ETL expertise: experience with Airflow, DBT or similar
  • Familiarity with modeling both structured and unstructured data from NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Proven ability to translate vague problems into actionable insights for the business
  • Strong communication skills to present actionable insights to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise
