Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional individual, who not only has a mastery of the technical aspects of the role, but also has a capacity to understand business needs, see the big picture and translate it into technical solutions.
As a Senior Analytics Engineer at TheFork, you will assume a pivotal role in shaping and fortifying our data infrastructure. You will serve as the crucial link between our source systems and the stakeholders who rely on our data.
Situated within the Business Analytics team, this role collaborates closely with all facets of the company, including finance, marketing, product, engineering, and operations.

You will join our Business Analytics team, which has 3 missions:

  • Valuable Business Insights: We dive deep into our data to uncover patterns and trends in our restaurants, diners, products and business performances, and we aim to give actionable insights to drive strategic initiatives and enhance customer experiences.
  • Comprehensive Data and Analytics Platform: We’re building and maintaining a robust platform that is supporting both business and product analytics. This means making sure everyone has access to accurate and timely information through easy-to-use dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
  • Central Expertise and Business Partnership: As the central team of data experts, we engage with business teams to understand their needs, provide them with frameworks to become more autonomous, and support their efforts to achieve business goals. Our expertise ensures that complex data topics are managed effectively, driving meaningful business results.
